A 21-year-old Belleville man threw a scare into his mother early last night.
City police were called to West Moira Street after the woman complained about her son swinging a crowbar at her car.
A 21-year-old drunk man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor License Act.
Police spotted a cane near the parked car. No crowbar was found.
