Prince Edward County can now begin working on putting together a cycling plan for the County.
The County has received $60,000 in grant monies from the province to create a commuter cycling plan.
The grant money covers 80 per cent of the $75,000 price tag for the project.
Councillor Brad Nieman asked staff if there were more grant opportunities available to them as the project moves forward.
CAO James Hepburn confirmed there were more grants available but the County needs to have a cycling plan in place before being able to apply for them.
