A much improved security camera system is just about completely operational in downtown Belleville.
Constable Mark Hall, the downtown liaison officer with the Belleville Police Service, told the annual meeting of BDIA last night that 10 of 12 brand new cameras are already up on light poles in the downtown.
Constable Hall says the cameras’ images are much clearer and will be a big help.
