A bus driver has been charged after a crash in east end Belleville yesterday afternoon.
Belleville Police say it happened around 4 p.m. on Dundas Street, near Haig Road, where a car had hit the back end of the bus.
There were students on the bus at the time, but no word on how many, or if any were hurt.
The driver of the car was taken to a Kingston hospital with sources to Quinte News saying he suffered significant injuries to the neck and ribs, as well as a punctured lung.
The bus driver was charged with a turning violation, but his name wasn’t released.
