Goaltenders great in scoreless tie in Wellington
Jonah Capriotti for the Wellington Dukes and Nate McDonald for the Whitby Fury were both stellar in net in a scoreless tie at Essroc Arena.
Shots were 45-32 Wellington.
The Dukes are in action on Sunday at home versus the Lindsay Muskies at 2 p.m. CJBQ broadcast time is 1:50 for Prinzen Ford Sales of Bloomfield with David Foot.
G-Hawks dropped by Voyageurs
Four straight Kingston Voyageurs goals downed the Trenton Golden Hawks in a 4-1 score.
Mac Lewis scored a late powerplay goal to break the shutout, assisted by Rex Moe and Shaun Bily.
Goaltender James Povall stopped 35 shots in his Trenton debut.
Shots favoured Kingston 39-35.
The G-Hawks are in Whitby to take on the Fury Saturday afternoon at 12:30 p.m.
Raiders whip Rebels
Ryan Casselman and Josh Murphy posted a pair of hat tricks in a 13-1 Napanee Raiders rout of the Campbellford Rebels.
Nathan Walford made 68 saves on 81 shots for Campbellford in a gutsy performance.
