It was much hotter than usual today, for this time of year, but not hot enough to break a temperature record.
The CFB Trenton Weather Office says the mercury peaked at 27.6 degrees, just shy of the 28.3 degrees record, set back in 1965.
The average temperature for September 21st is 19.2 degrees.
Environment Canada is forecast temperatures in the high 20s and low 30s right through the weekend and into Monday.
