A Belleville man has turned himself in to police after a crash involving a pick up truck and a cyclist on Station Street last week.
The rider was knocked unconscious for a short time on September 12th, after hitting the back of a Dodge Ram, which was turning left onto Albion Street, just after 8:00 p.m.
The cyclist was treated at Belleville General Hospital but was released with non-life threatening injuries.
The truck driver had left the scene, but the next day, 45 year-old Ken Hill turned himself in at Belleville Police Headquarters.
He’s facing a criminal charge of failing to stop at the scene of an accident and will be in Belleville court next month.
