UPDATE @ 4:15 p.m.: OPP confirm a man has died in a two-car crash near Warkorth this morning.
Northumberland OPP say a northbound car on County Road 25 lost control, crossed the centre line around 10:45 and collided with a southbound cement truck. The driver was killed in the collision.
The driver of the cement truck was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No information on the identity of the man who died has been released and OPP investigators are still looking into what caused the crash.
County Road 25, between County Road 27 and Clarke Road, is expected to be closed for several more hours.

UPDATE @ 12:15 p.m.: OPP have closed County Road 25 completely, between County Road 27 north to Clarke Road, as their investigation continues.
The closure is expected to last for several hours and drivers should take alternate routes to avoid the area.

Northumberland OPP have confirmed that emergency personnel are on the scene of a serious two-car crash on County Road 25, near Morganston Road.
No other details were confirmed by police, but reports to Quinte News say a car and a cement truck may have been involved and one person may have died in the crash.
There’s also no confirmation on any road blocks, or traffic detours, but drivers on County Road 25 near Morganston Road should expect delays, or take an alternate route.
