There’s another big hockey tournament coming to Quinte West this fall.
The Trenton Golden Hawks and the City of Quinte West have been awarded the 2017 Eastern Canada Cup All Star Challenge, at the Duncan McDonald Arena, from November 13th to 15th.
The tournament sees the best Jr. A players from leagues in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes take part in a series of games, which are scouted heavily by the NHL, Canadian Hockey League and universities in Canada and the US.
The event is also a player identification opportunity for Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge.
Information on rosters, schedules and ticket details will be released in the coming weeks.
