It seems like some young people in Prince Edward County couldn’t wait to get back to school, after police found them inside a local high school on the weekend.
Prince Edward OPP were called to Prince Edward Collegiate Institute around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, where they questioned a group of three youths, who were hanging around outside the building.
It turns out two of them had gone inside the school, through an unlocked window and then came back out through another door.
While nothing was stolen, a 15 and 16 year old have each been charged with breaking and entering and will appear in court in October.
Both of their identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
