A 23-year-old Quinte West man is facing a number of drug-related charges.
On Thursday, Quinte West OPP and Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau officers saw a man in downtown Trenton, who was wanted in Quebec for various fraud related incidents.
When police approached, the man ran away and was caught just a short time later.
Officers found various drugsĀ on the man, including heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana, with a combined value of close to $10,000.
Twenty-three-year-old Cedrick Eugine of Quinte West is charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and three counts of breaching probation.
He was scheduled for a bail hearing today in Belleville.
