Belleville police came to the aid of a boy and his broken bicycle yesterday afternoon.
A resident called police worrying about a 6 year old boy struggling with a bike with a flat tire at Dundas and Herchimer.
An officer responded and learned that the boy had ignored the wishes of his babysitter and took off on his bike.
The boy and bicycle were driven home to the Russell/Pine Street area by the police officer.
