Drug and weapons charges have been laid against a man from Vaughan, after a crash on Highway 37 in Tweed, late last week.
Central Hastings OPP responded to the scene, just south of Marlbank Road, where two cars had collided around 2:00 in the afternoon.
Officers found a hand gun, a substantial amount of pot, as well as some cocaine, on one of the drivers and arrested him.
24 year-old Mohammed Ahmed Mian is charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm, possession of cocaine, trafficking marijuana, possession of a prohibited weapon and five other firearm-related offenses.
A woman who was a passenger in the other vehicle was taken to hospital, but the extent of her injuries wasn’t released.
