The Dudley Hewitt Cup, the Central Canadian Junior A Championship is in Trenton in 2017 and is now less than a month away. On Tuesday, the organizing committee held a press conference to update fans on more details on the week, which includes games from May 2nd to 6th.
Champions from the OJHL, NOJHL and the SIJHL, along with the host Trenton Golden Hawks will meet to battle, with a spot in the RBC National Championship in Cobourg on the line. If Trenton wins the Buckland Cup (OJHL Championship), then the other league finalist (Georgetown/Oakville) would also go to the Dudley.
Golden Hawks spokesperson Rob McDonald updated Quinte News on details for the event.
McDonald says single game tickets are available as of Monday April 10th.
McDonald says they are also organizing a gala which takes place on May 1 at the National Air Force Museum.
