A multi-media campaign aimed at highlighting the positives of living, working, and playing in downtown Belleville will roll out this spring.
The “My Downtown Belleville” campaign consists of 50 short videos and other materials featuring businesspeople, shoppers, and residents who speak of why they enjoy the downtown so much.
The campaign is the creation of Aaron and Angela Bell, of Aaron Bell Online Marketing, and being paid for by the City of Belleville and the Downtown Business Improvement Area Board.
Here is an example of a testimonial from a woman who owns an art store in the downtown.
The videos will be shown online in a multitude of places and widely available on social media. Traditional media such as print and radio will also be employed.
The campaign launches in May and will cost a total of $40,000.
