An inmate at the Quinte Regional Detention Centre in Napanee suffered minor injuries after being stabbed late last week inside the jail.
Napanee OPP say 29 year old Hedrick Ryscamp of Deseronto and 37 year old Gordon Drysdale of Napanee were charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
Police say the attack was motivated by something that happened before the trio arrived a the detention centre.
