The Mayor of Quinte West is joining most, if not all of Canada’s mayors, in welcoming the Federal Liberal government’s plans to expand spending on infrastructure.
Mayor Jim Harrison says there is no shortage of projects that need to be done and the more financial help, the better.
Meanwhile, Mayor Harrison says people are right to be concerned about federal deficits growing because of the increased investment in infrastructure, but he believes the government is on the right track.
