OPP have located and charged a third suspect said to be involved in a violent home invasion in Bancroft on October 6.
At 10:15 p.m., Bancroft officers were called to an apartment on Snow Road in the town where three men forced their way in and assaulted a man with a weapon and then robbed him.
Police arrested two suspects, 31-year-old Aaron Romeiro of Beaverton and 24-year-old Cody Barnett from Norwood a short time later in Faraday Township.
On October 18, officers charged 33 year old Joseph Thomas of Peterborough.
The three suspects face 12 charges including: robbery with a weapon; assault with a weapon; break and enter; mischief under $5000; possess schedule 1 substance; careless storage of a firearm; possession of a prohibited device or ammunition; possession property obtained by crime; possession of prohibited or restricted firearm/ammunition; possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose; unauthorized possession of a firearm and occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited or restricted weapon.
Thomas appeared for a bail hearing on October 19.
