A new report called the Obstacles and Opportunities for Small Business in Ontario highlights the contributions of small businesses to the economy and the concerns.
Quinte West Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Suzanne Andrews says the cost of infrastructure is an issue.
Andrews says high speed internet is very important to small business.
The report, released by Ontario Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Bay of Quinte Regional Chambers of Commerce, calls for “a single access point for all government-funded workforce, training, and employment services.”
It also says the Chambers would like to have “all three levels of government commit coordinated infrastructure dollars to connect all Ontario businesses to the 21st global economy.”
