Belleville fire investigators say damage to a warehouse on the Hawkins Cheezies site was so bad, that they can’t determine the exact cause.
Fire Prevention Officer John Lake says investigators from the Electrical Safety Authority have combed over the Church Street scene, but couldn’t say for certain that the cause was electrical, although that’s what is suspected.
Nobody was injured in the Sunday night fire, which caused about $300,000.
Lake says, even though the ESA is done its work, the cause remains under investigation.
