As is normal in the spring home sales in the Quinte region have been on the rise.
According to a report by the Central Lakes Association of Realtors in Belleville 66 houses were sold last month, up from 49 in March. The average price was $578,000, an increase from the month before.
In Quinte West there were 59 home sales in April up from 42 in March. The average price last month was $626,000, an increase from March.
In Prince Edward County 32 homes were sold last month up from 26 in March. The average price.was $710,000 which was lower than in March when the average price was $863,000.
And in Brighton last month 23 houses sold, an increase from March’s 26. The average price in April was $609,000 down from $781,000 in March.
