The committee is looking for someone to help set policies on how the 11 municipal drinking water sources in our area should be protected.
The position requires a multi-year commitment and future work will include ensuring the source protection plan remains current according to the Ontario Clean Water Act.
The candidate will fill one of five economic seats, which include members from the business and agricultural sectors.
The committee also includes five municipal representatives, five public reps, two First Nations members and three non-voting members, as well as the chair person.
