Belleville council has a full agenda ahead with several delegations speaking later this afternoon.
A controversy popped up late last week when Reverend David Mundy told local media
that he’d been turned down as a delegation even though he’d followed the proper process.
He was to represent some local churches and to talk about casinos and social problems
caused by gambling.
Neither he, or the public, has been told why he was turned down.
Meanwhile, several Belleville councillors have said they would vote to allow the minister to speak today, if he wished to address social issues.
