A Belleville man was charged after a vehicle break-in in the city’s east end early Tuesday.
Police responded after reports of a man breaking the rear window of a vehicle in an attempt to steal its contents shortly before 1 o’clock in the morning.
Officers located a suspect a short distance away from the scene.
Randall Gibson, 41, was charged with mischief and breaching probation.
