Sentencing for the boy found guilty of murdering a Warkworth woman is scheduled in Peterborough today.
The 16-year-old, who can’t be named, but was identified at his trial as the victim’s son, was found guilty of first degree murder in a Peterborough court late last year.
The body of 33-year-old Michelle Barnoski was found buried in her backyard on June 13th, 2008, about two weeks after she disappeared. She had been shot nine times. Thirty-five-year-old Marc Vickers, also accused of first degree murder, will stand trial starting on September 13th.
