Belleville has lured a new employee from Kingston to oversee the operation of recreational facilities in the city. Mayor Neil Ellis says Mark Fluhrer has been hired as Director of Recreation, Culture and Community Services. He had been working in the same position in Kingston and will replace Marj Buck who retires in the Spring. Ellis says Fluhrer will be responsible for making the best use of our existing resources and strenghtening the delivery of services. He starts in January.
