Former Toronto Maple Leaf star Doug Gilmour is returning to his hometown to coach the OHL’s Kingston Frontenacs. Gilmour is leaving his job as assistant coach with the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies.
Gilmour will make his coaching debut with Kingston Friday night at the K Rock Center in a game against the Belleville Bulls.
Larry Mavety will remain as the general manager of the Frontenacs.
