The County hit the bull’s-eye with the Prince Edward Rod and Gun Club.
About 20 members of the gun club packed Shire Hall Tuesday night, as council voted to open and assume the southern portion of the unnamed and unassumed road allowance off Gun Club Road, name the open portion Gun Club Road and offer seasonal maintenance.
This will cost the County $33,000 to assume with planning and surveyors plus minor repairs including a turn around for better access on the 220 metre portion that motorists have been using at their own risk. Emergency vehicles have been unable to access the club.
Member Morgan Hill addressed council echoing previous statements that the club is threatened without a safe access way to the road.
