The Trenton Golden Hawks continued their strong weekend Sunday night, earning a 4-1 victory over the Pickering Panthers at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex.
Peter Overzat scored his first career OJHL goal as Trenton won back-to-back games for the third time this season.
The win was also a milestone for head coach Connor Armour, who earned his first victory against his former team.
Armour led Pickering to the Eastern Conference Finals last season and was named OJHL Coach of the Year before taking over behind the bench in Trenton.
Ethan Brassard led the way offensively with a goal and an assist, while Beckett Ewart and Kaiden Harmon each had two assists.
Eli Zucker made his third consecutive start in as many days, turning aside 27 shots as he continued his strong play.
Since joining the club, he has posted a 1.67 goals against average and a .946 save percentage, including one shutout in three appearances.
The Golden Hawks return to action next Friday when they host the Newmarket Hurricanes at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Gardens.
