We have an update on the early-morning fire in Rossmore.
Deputy Fire Chief Tim Kraemer says in a statement that two people were taken to the hospital.
Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue responded to the blaze on Ridley Street just after 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Both occupants were transported for medical treatment, while no firefighter injuries were reported.
The origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation, and police have not yet released a damage estimate.
