A growing partnership between Keint-he Winery and Vineyards, the Rogers family and the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) Foundation, is helping bring the community one step closer to its new hospital.
For the second year in a row, Keint-he Winery and the Rogers family have made a $10,000 gift in support of the Back the Build campaign, bringing their contributions over the past two years to $20,000.
Their support extends beyond their annual gifts. This fall, Keint-he is also joining the foundation’s partners in Pink Golf Tournament as a Pink Flag Hole Sponsor, helping raise funds to outfit the Gynecology Examination Room in the Emergency Department and the Mammography Room in the new Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital.
For a family and business deeply rooted in Prince Edward County since 2007, supporting the new hospital is an investment in the community they call home. Keint-he’s connection to the county and commitment to its community were also central to the family’s first $10,000 gift in 2025.
“We were proud to support Back the Build last year and are very pleased to continue that commitment,” said Bryan Rogers, co-owner of Keint-he Winery and Vineyards. “This is our community, and the new hospital will be here to care for our families, friends and neighbours for generations. We’re grateful to have the opportunity to play a part in making it possible.”
Shannon Coull, executive director of the PECMH Foundation, said Keint-he’s continued generosity is an example of the meaningful relationships that are helping move the campaign forward.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Rogers family and the entire Keint-he team. What began with a generous gift has grown into a wonderful partnership, and it means so much to have them standing alongside us again this year, not only through another significant gift to Back the Build, but through their support of Partners in Pink. It is this kind of sustained community commitment that is helping us build a stronger future for health care in Prince Edward County.”
Nancy Parks, chairperson of the Back the Build Campaign Cabinet, said the campaign’s success has been built on community members and local businesses choosing to invest in the future of health care close to home.
“Every gift to Back the Build represents someone choosing to invest in the future of our community. We are tremendously thankful to Keint-he Winery and the Rogers family for choosing to do so again. Their continued generosity is helping us move closer to the finish line and, ultimately, to a new hospital that will serve Prince Edward County for generations to come.”
The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation raises funds to advance health care for the people of Prince Edward County, including the construction and equipment of a new hospital. For more information or to lend your support, please visit our website at www.pecmhf.ca.
