Mainly due to weather there’s been a delay in the opening of a new affordable apartment building in Quinte West.
Hastings County Council learned Thursday that an early winter featuring heavier snow than normal has backed up the completion of a 32-unit building on South Street in Trenton to early in 2027.
Originally, the $12.7-million project had been scheduled to be ready for occupancy this autumn.
