There is a major morning commute headache on the eastbound 401 near Napanee.
A multi-vehicle pileup just before midnight has completely shut down the highway between the Napanee and Odessa exits.
First responders remain on scene and provincial police warn the eastbound lanes will stay blocked for hours while collision reconstruction teams investigate.

Drivers heading toward Kingston are being urged to avoid the area and detour along Highway 2.
