He says negotiations with the Americans are driving economic uncertainty.

He tells Quinte News despite the challenges with the Americans, Ontario and Canada have what other countries want.
“We’ve signed MOUs with Poland, Romania, a number of other jurisdictions in the EU, around our small modular reactors. We know that critical minerals and those supply chains are largely dependent currently today on China. Developing the Ring of Fire, we’ve worked hard with Indigenous communities in the north to unlock this potential.”
Estimates for the Ring of Fire have an estimated value of tens or hundreds of billions of dollars in minerals.
