Quinte West’s Planning Advisory Committee is recommending council approve changes for an expansion of a subdivision in Trenton’s west end.
Klemencic Homes applied for rezoning in Phase 3 of the Hillside Meadows North development to allow for two 34 unit apartment buildings, 11 lots for single detached homes , 4 for semi-detached homes, and a block for 24 townhouses.
The total number of residential units would be 107.
In 2021, the original plan for Phase 3 contained no apartment buildings and more single detached and semi-detached lots totaling 55 residential units.
Council will make the final decision on approving the rezoning for apartment buildings.
