Belleville councillor Sean Kelly has announced he is officially running for reelection in the upcoming municipal election.
A two-term veteran of municipal council, a victory in the upcoming election would see Kelly serving for a third term.
Kelly currently serves as the chair of Belleville’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He’s also chair of the Hastings County Committee for Long-Lerm Care Facilities, and sits on Belleville’s Accessibility Committee. Outside his role as a municipal councillor, Kelly serves as Director of Programming at Quinte Broadcasting for MIX 97, ROCK 107, and 800 CJBQ in Belleville.
The deadline for any candidate for mayor, councillor, or school board trustee to register for the upcoming election is 2 p.m. on Friday.
