A Belleville man is facing charges after repeatedly calling 911.
On Tuesday, Belleville police received more than 10 non-emergency 911 calls from the same man. The man was warned about the misuse of emergency communications, however, the calls continued.
During the investigation, officers also learned that the man had contacted paramedic services multiple times over 24 hours, requesting transportation to hospital despite having no medical concerns requiring transport.
As a result of a police investigation, a 65-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with public mischief and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
