On August 17, 2026, at 7:38 p.m., Belleville police conducted a traffic stop in the city’s east end and discovered that the male driver was suspended.
Upon investigation, it was also learned that the male was bound by a probation order prohibiting communication with the female passenger.
As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:
