The City of Quinte West is now accepting applications for its fall intake of the 2026 Tourism and Commercial Community Improvement Plan (CIP) program.
The CIP program provides property enhancement grants for matching funds to offset up to 50 per cent of eligible project costs, including:
- Building and property renovations
- Façade improvements and signage upgrades
- Upper-storey residential or commercial conversions
- Tourism infrastructure improvements
City council approved $200,000 in funding for the 2026 CIP program, split between the spring and fall intakes. During the spring intake, the city approved approximately $122,000 of incentives granted to seven local upgrade projects.
“The city looks forward to supporting local tourism, property owners and commercial businesses through the CIP program’s fall intake,” says Linda Lisle, Manager of Economic Development and Tourism Services. “We welcome applications from local business owners and tourism operators interested in making improvements to their property to support economic development.”
Interested applicants can submit an intent to apply form between now and Oct. 2, 2026 by visiting quintewest.ca/CIP.
