Northumberland OPP have made an arrest after an assault at Warkworth Institution.
On July 10, a staff member suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being assaulted by an inmate.
OPP began an investigation and last Saturday (August 8) a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with assaulting a peace officer causing bodily harm.
The man was not identified and has a future court date in Cobourg.
