Quinte Curling is inviting local businesses to take part in a new business league called the Onit Business League.
In a release, Quinte Curling says the new league will give local companies an opportunity to combine team building, employee wellness, friendly competition and networking.
No curling experience is required.

Quinte Curling is inviting local businesses to bring their employees together in a new and unique way this fall with the launch of the Onit Business League, a new curling program designed specifically for businesses and their employees.
The new league will give local companies an opportunity to combine team building, employee wellness, friendly competition and networking while experiencing one of Canada’s most distinctive sports.
“Curling is a great fit for workplace teams because it brings people together in a relaxed, social environment while naturally encouraging communication, collaboration and strategic thinking,” says Kim Wilson Club Pro Quinte Curling.
“We wanted to create an opportunity for local businesses to build stronger teams while enjoying a fun and social activity.”
No Curling Experience Required
The Onit Business League has been designed to make curling accessible to everyone. Whether a team is made up of experienced curlers or employees who have never stepped onto the ice, everyone is welcome.
Each session begins with a Learn-to-Curl instructional evening, followed by eight weeks of weekly games. Teams will also have an opportunity to socialize after games, connect with other local businesses and compete in a championship night at the end of the session.
Teams require a minimum of four players, with equipment provided by Quinte Curling.
Two Evening Options
Businesses can choose between Friday or Sunday evening play, with space available for eight teams on each night.
The Fall Session begins October 16 for Friday teams and October 18 for Sunday teams. A Winter Session will follow, beginning January 22 for Friday teams and January 24 for Sunday teams.
The cost is $500 per team, per session, making the program an affordable option for businesses looking to invest in employee engagement and team experiences.
Curling offers a combination of physical activity, social connection and problem solving, while creating an environment where employees can interact outside the traditional workplace.

Registration for the Onit Business League is now open.
