Breach of Probation
On August 9, 2026 at 2:33 a.m., Belleville police conducted a traffic stop in the city’s west end.
During the investigation, officers learned that the driver was bound by several court-ordered conditions, including prohibiting communication with one of the passengers in the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old Pembroke man was arrested and charged with fail to comply with a probation order – four counts.
He was held for a bail hearing.
Male Arrested After Internet Child Exploitation Investigation
On August 7, 2026 after an investigation conducted by the Belleville Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit, a 28-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material, and transmitting child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
The male was held for a bail hearing.
