The stats are in for construction in Quinte West for the month of July.
Fifty-three permits were issued, including six new residential developments, with a combined value of $7,604,000. This is slightly fewer permits issued compared to July of the previous year, when 57 permits were issued. While the number of new permits issued was slightly down, the value compared to last July was significantly higher. Last July’s permits only held a combined value of $5,812,000.
So far this year, 300 permits have been issued for construction, with a value of $79,392,000. Slightly more permits had been issued by this time last year, a total of 331. The value of permits issued by this point last year was also higher, with a combined value of $94,844,500.
