Belleville council will consider a considerable grant to help pay for an affordable-housing project in the city’s east end.
At its meeting on Monday, council will see a staff report recommending the city grant a company $197,000 under its Community Improvement Plan for the building of a 38-unit apartment building at 120 Burnham Street.
The building would feature 12 affordable units and eight accessible units.
Belleville council meets at 4 o’clock Monday afternoon at City Hall.
