On Sunday afternoon it was reported the business had been broken into overnight and merchandise stolen.
While officers were en route, the complainant advised that two youths had attended the store and were causing a disturbance, with one displaying a knife.
The youths had fled on foot but were quickly taken into custody.
A 14-year-old Belleville male, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act was charged with the following offences and released on an undertaking:
· Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose
· Break and enter – with intent to commit indictable offence
A 13-year-old Belleville male, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act was charged with the following offences and released on an undertaking:
· Theft under $5000
· Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
· Break and enter – commit indictable offence
