Construction on North Trent Street in Frankford is set to begin on Monday.
North Trent Street from Adelaide Street to Concession Road will be closed to through traffic.
Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and local traffic only.
All other through traffic will be detoured as follows:
- Northbound traffic: west onto Adelaide Street, north onto King Drive and east onto Concession Road.
- Southbound traffic: west onto Concession Road, south onto King Drive, east onto Adelaide Street.
This closure will allow work to begin on the installation of a second sanitary force main, upsizing the underground sanitary sewer, and road reconstruction, including new asphalt and curb.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in late fall 2026.
