A Kitchener man has been arrested after receiving a report of an assault that occurred during a public event in the Municipality of Trent Hills.
Police had received the report on July 11 about an event on Percy Boom Road.
The incident is said to have involved two people earlier in the day, resulting in one person being transported to hospital for medical treatment.
Following an investigation, one person was taken into custody on November 3, 2026.
Thirty-six-year-old Brian Vanderstoep of Kitchener has been charged with aggravated assault.
The accused was held to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
