The City of Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee voted to recommend to council a rezoning to allow for an almost 10,000-square-metre warehouse to be built.
The warehouse would be built on land south of Highway 401 and north of Bell Boulevard.
According to a report to the committee, the warehouse would facilitate parcel delivery throughout the region and would be near the Canada Post Distribution Centre.
Council will have final approval on the application, and will decide on the application at a future meeting.
