A broken window at a business on Front Street in Belleville has led to a charge of mischief against a Belleville woman.
Belleville police responded to a call for service at the business around 9:18 a.m. on June 6.
It was reported to police that, upon arriving at work, an employee noticed that a window had been broken overnight.
Officers reviewed surveillance footage and saw a woman attending the business, kicking the window, and then fleeing the scene on foot.
Through continued investigation, officers were able to identify a suspect.
On July 2, 2026 as a result of investigation, 28-year-old Jessica Cruse-White, a Belleville woman of no fixed address, was located, arrested, and charged with:
- Mischief under $5000
- Fail to comply with probation order
She was released on an undertaking with a scheduled court date in November.
