Players with connections (as some point out) to the Belleville/Ottawa Senators organization have been busy over the last 24 hours, as the NHL free agency got underway.
Ottawa has announced that Nick Cousins has re-signed with the club.
It is a two-year/$3.175-million deal.
The soon to be 33-year-old had 23 points last season in the nation’s capital.

Garrett Pilon is parting ways with the Belleville Senators after serving as captain for the club for two seasons.
Is his time in the Friendly City, he notched 128 regular season points (over three seasons).
He has agreed to terms with KHL club Barys Astana.

Belleville Senators grad Nick Paul is now a Toronto Maple Leaf.
He was sent from the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday for two picks.
